In this episode, we dive into a topic that most parents wrestle with because it’s essential and really, really hard. Communication or perhaps more accurately – healthy communication – is critical for a human being at any age to express feelings, preferences, needs and to receive those messages from others.
The question is how do we as parents help our kids build strong communication skills? – always a challenge but never more so than in today’s digital world.

So much value here! Thank you, Siri and Terry. The conversation does such an interesting job of both keeping highly practical and actionable, and animating this with the profound humanity and intentionality that high-fidelity Montessori education embodies.
I especially appreciated hearing the reasoning behind “reality-based” stories and curriculum being rooted in the developmental needs of the 0-6 child, as opposed to some ideological positioning.
A super informative and inspiring listen–especially important in this brave new world of endless bombardment of distractions. Thanks again!

Full praise and thoroughly enjoyed Siri’s expert views on how to build healthy communication skill of yr child at early age from 1-6.
Many issues were raised on :
1.How to get yr child involved to learn gracious way to please one another/peers and at times mix age group where you still feel at ease to communicate with better understanding details/ minutely or one step at a time or step by step to get the work done individually or as a team.
2.How to overcome all kinds of distractions like tv and varied activities not of interest to your child.
3.High time that parents need to constantly monitor child growth by keeping a close watch and, at times let free bossy behaviour.
4 For parents always welcome /preferred to act like a dear friend whom your child can trust.
5.Team work like playing games will boost confidence to speak out.
6.Some examples cited is simply appealing like dogs, plants and nature. Suggest children to know and appreciate nature and planet earth.
6.Yes,I do agree that all children cannot be treated in the same way. Find ways to make them participate in school activities..Also,home is where you can give them the new lessons gracefully.
To sum up,,early childhood communication skill will pave way to all round development.
